One of my favorite images that I have captured to date. Shot up in the central mountains of Vancouver Island, BC during a late-season solo hike. An experience I will remember for many years to come.

Autumn in the Alpine
A sunset shot from my first ever solo hike up into the central mountains of Vancouver Island. I'm still just amazed at how beautiful this spot is. Having so much time up here to just relax and enjoy the scenery in solitude was a unique experience for me and one that I won't soon forget. I want to do another solo hike again soon, but the climate is only getting colder and I don't really enjoy sleeping in a tent when it's below freezing outside. But maybe I just need to suck it up... I mean, when you got views like this, you might as well suffer a bit right?
Gaining Perspective
Peering through some Fall colors at a popular lake in Banff National Park... It's crazy that it's only been less than 3 months since this big roadtrip to the Canadian Rockies and I'm already getting myself prepared for another trip down to the States next week. I've been pretty uninspired to shoot in recent weeks so I'm excited to go capture some more of the beautiful landscapes that the US has to offer. It's been a long time since I last visited some of the places that I'll be going to, so I am quite excited for what's to come.

Enlighten

The River of Luminescence
One of the first photographs that I took during my roadtrip to the Canadian Rockies this past Fall. I caught the earliest ferry over to the mainland from Vancouver Island and sent it to Yoho Park in time for sunset. The light and clouds were stunning that evening and ended up being the perfect conditions for sunset. Glad that I was able to make it in time to catch that light before it was gone.
