Some very dramatic clouds at one of my favorite spots in the Rockies. The Autumn colors were just popping off when I was here a few weeks ago. Glad I was able to catch the colors before the first snowfall of the season came through only a few days later. It was beautiful.
Some coastal mountain layers captured 5000ft up in the central mountains of Vancouver Island. I took this image during my solo hike up 5040 Peak from a couple months ago. The views from up here were just spectacular. I could see across to the coastal mountains of the mainland on one side and see the open Pacific Ocean on the other. It was an amazing experience, and most of the time, I had the whole place to myself. Definitely one of the best hikes I've ever been on.
