Some moody post-sunrise skies at one of my favourite locations in the Canadian Rockies. This place is a fairly popular destination for tourists but if you come early enough, you can break away from the crowds and sometimes even get the whole place to yourself like I did on that morning. It was a pretty amazing experience to be able to photograph this gem in solitude for a few moments that day.
One of my favorite Autumn scenes that I stumbled across while exploring the Canadian Rockies. Only a couple days after this photo was taken, a powerful snowstorm came through and covered up all of these colourful trees with a thick layer of snow. I'm glad I was able to catch these colours before that happened!
