Mirror's Edge

Some moody and foggy conditions along the trails near my parents house. I remember turning the corner and seeing this incredible reflections being cast in these large puddles. It was as if what appeared before my eyes had been photoshopped right in front of me. If you look closely, you can see two people walking towards the camera. I think once they eventually passed me, they were probably thinking I was slightly out of mind for being so excited about some puddles. But oh well, if only they would have truly understood why.

Tree of Tranquility

Another frame from a beautiful Autumn morning at the Butchart Gardens in Victoria. I'm so glad that I finally was able to come here and take some photographs of the gardens during the peak of Autumn. When I arrived, it surprisingly wasn't as busy as I expected it would be, so I didn't have to do too much waiting around between shots. It's not often that I get a shoot that goes so well as this one did. Usually something doesn't go according to plan but everything seemed to line up quite well for this one. If I ever get the chance to return, I will definitely come back again.

Alone

A single evergreen tree growing out of a stump in the middle of a tranquil lake on Vancouver Island. A beautiful scene that truly represents the feeling of Van Isle.
