Intergalactic Lands

A blue hour blend of one of my images from the unreal landscapes of Death Valley National Park. The textures and vast combinations of different soils and minerals in this place really make for some of the most unique landscapes I have ever seen. It felt as if I had traveled to another planet when I was photographing this park. I really wanted to express in the final edit just how extraterrestrial this place felt.

Hyperspeed

A single exposure image at one of my favorite places in the US. I just finished shooting sunset and decided to photograph blue hour for a little while after. It was very cold, and I really didn't feel like being out taking photos for much longer. But the occasional vehicle passed by on this dirt road every so often and I accidentally caught one while shooting long exposures. It looked great on the back of the screen so I waited patiently for the next one to come by and managed to get this frame. Definitely one of my favorite shots from the trip, worth embracing the cold.
